Johns Hopkins Partners with Bloomberg Philanthropies on Effort to Promote Effective Use of Data and Evidence within Local Government

BALTIMORE, MD - Former New York City Mayor and philanthropist Michael R. Bloomberg has committed funds to launch a new Center for Government Excellence at Johns Hopkins University.  Experts at the center will provide coaching and tools to build capacity in 100 city halls for decision-making rooted in evidence, open accountability and citizen engagement.
